City Seeks Commission Members

The City currently is seeking citizen involvement on its Planning Commission and Parks Commission. The Planning Commission has one open seat it is currently seeking applicants to fill. The Commission consists of seven members and serves as the City’s planning agency, holds public hearings, and reviews development proposals, ordinance amendments and zoning appeals. Terms on the Planning Commission are for three years and appointed members must be residents of Watertown.

The Park Commission has one open seat it is currently seeking applicants to fill. The Commission consists of seven members and serves as the City’s advisory board to the City Council regarding park and trail planning in the community, recommends capital investment for park and recreation facilities, and evaluates park and trail improvement and maintenance needs. Terms on the Park Commission are for three years and appointed members must be residents of Watertown.
