Assessor Board of Appeal and Equalization

The City of Watertown contracts with the Carver County Assessor’s Office to perform all property assessment within the community. All property owners will received updated market value information around April 1st. If a property owner disputes the estimated market value of their property they have the ability to appeal this valuation to the Board of Appeal and Equalization. The schedule as well as links to the Carver County Assessors office website and information on how assessed values and appeals are handled are below.
