No parking on any city street, avenue, alley, or parking lot from 2:30 a.m. — 6:00 a.m. beginning November 1 and running through April 15. Vehicles left on the streets during those hours will be subject to getting ticketed and/or towed. This is to allow for snow removal equipment to do a thorough job.

Plowing operations began at 3:00 a.m. when snow accumulation exceeds 2". Normally all streets are open and passable by 7:00 a.m. Please use extreme caution during these times as blowing snow can impair visibility.

Watertown has streets with some fairly steep grades. Extra attention is given to these areas during periods of snowfall by sanding, salting and plowing. Please reduce your speed and use extra caution when traveling on these roads.

Snow that is deposited in driveways and in front of mailboxes is to be removed by the homeowner.

If there is a fire hydrant nearby it is very helpful if the homeowner is willing to clear the snow around the hydrant.

Trash receptacles should be set at least 5’ back from the curb when it is apparent that snow removal will be necessary on that day.
